Where does fashion go from here?
An insider's view with Walter D'Aprile, co-founder of nss magazine
Welcome to The Stanza’s In The Room interview series, designed to make you feel like you’ve just had a very satisfying and insightful coffee chat with an industry leader.
Today’s guest is Walter D’Aprile, co-founder of nss magazine, the largest independent fashion & culture media platform in Italy. If you’ve been following The Stanza for a while, you’ll have heard of nss magazine - I often share their content because they discuss fashion from the closest insider’s view, right here in Milan (and sometimes Paris). Through relentless front row and backstage fashion coverage, profiles of industry leaders in Europe, and analysis on trends and their impact on culture, nss magazine has grown into a content platform with an audience of over 1M+.
Walter co-founded nss magazine in 2009 as a street style fashion blog in Napoli, his hometown, and in addition to its social media channels, Walter also runs their media agency, which produces campaigns and digital activations for institutional brands that want to reach the Italian market.
I was keen to have Walter on as a guest as he’s privy to a lot of behind-the-scenes conversations and isn’t afraid to voice a controversial opinion. (This is also his first audio interview in English!)
